Our suggestion when you drive back to San José:

Visitors will enjoy a wealth of flora and fauna gracing the plains and hills of the area. Bird lovers will enjoy the sight of many exotic specimens, including the scarlet macaws.
Or visit the Rainmaker Private Reserve (optional, not included). Rainmaker is a reserve consisting of mostly primary rainforest and is part of the Quepos Corridor where birds and other wildlife migrate throughout the year.
